This year’s User Conference took place September 7-9 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
With the greatest number of attendees we’ve seen to date, the 2016 User Conference featured three days of customer and employee presentations on topics ranging from “How DevEX Helped Us Grow” to “Configuration Management” to “Latest DevEX Updates.”

Survey results came back positive with most attendees giving the conference an overall rating of 4 or 5 out of 5 stars.
On average, attendees were 89% likely to recommend the conference to a colleague.
Customers and prospects alike had the opportunity to sit down face-to-face with Selerant project managers, engineers and executives to ask detailed questions, receive feedback and learn about Selerant’s vision for the future.
The conference was not all work and no play, though. Backed by 15 years of experience speaking and leading team-building initiatives, our emcee Jared Young kept the energy level high with activities like a quick rock-paper-scissors tournament.
We also ran a social media participation competition in which attendees who used our event hashtag #UC2016 to share updates, or sat for a video interview, were eligible to win an Apple Watch.
Our closing activity featured a drink-making competition during which participants divided themselves into teams and had only 20 minutes to create a cocktail judged on aesthetic appeal, taste and name.
One of the key pieces of feedback we receive year after year is that our User Conference is truly about the users. The conference is an opportunity for Selerant to not only listen to customer needs, but also to act upon them. Customers love to hear from other customers about shared wins and losses and to learn from one another. The conference serves as a collaboration ground for all.
